hiatus / drop

Sometimes, things come up in the course of RP that mean you don't have the time or energy to devote to a game, and we understand that. If you need to take a hiatus from the game, or even drop a character, all you need to do is fill out one of these simple forms.

In the case of taking a hiatus, your AC requirements may be reduced or waived depending on when you take it and the length of your absence from the game. If the hiatus is between 1-2 weeks, AC will be half of the current requirements, and your character will have been in medical or on auto-pilot for the duration of the hiatus. If the hiatus is more than 2 weeks, you may link your hiatus in lieu of AC. Please note that you are still expected to comment to the AC post, or to inform the mods if you will not be able to.

Make sure to use this post! If you simply post your hiatus or drop to the ooc comm but not here, it will not count for the purpose of AC exemption.

I have to study for and take a licensure exam for my profession. It costs $700+ USD for each time I take it, so it is better if I don't fail. I don't have a date for the exam yet but I think it will be soon. I am sorry the dates are so inconvenient. I tried to get it to start and end the same month but at work I only got approved study time off for second half of March, first half of April, so... yeah. idk i'm happy to discuss via PP or PM if better. /equivocating ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT

Apart from that, Kavinsky will be autopiloting... except for when I RP him in the plot I guess. Yes. I am sorry I am sure this is very confusing. [yeti]

Due to the way the hiatus period straddles March/April we wanted to clarify how this will work.

You can be complete exempt for one month, either the AC check in April or the AC check in May, the choice is yours just let us know. The other month you will need to check in and provide 1/2 activity.
